I would like to thank all of the brothers who helped organize and execute the events of the weekend, as well as the brothers, family, and friends who attended. You all helped make the weekend a very festive and fraternal occasion.
I would like to recognize, in particular, some of the brothers and friends of the Craft who made the Installation a particularly memorable occasion. While the list does not include all who bore a hand to make our Communication and related activities a success, these contributors were particularly generous and dedicated.
Brothers Jose Boggio and Pablo Cordova, appointed Grand Lodge Photographers, worked the Installation, producing hundreds of excellent photos. Brother William Baumbach, of Cochran Lodge No. 271, A.F. & A.M., Grand Lodge of Virginia, also took hundreds of exceptional photographs. I expect several to appear on the Grand Lodge website and future issues of the Voice of Freemasonry.
Right Worshipful Brother George Stoklas, our newly installed Grand Treasurer, and his lovely wife Peggy, entertained scores of visiting brothers well into the wee hours at the Hospitality Suite. I greatly appreciate their dedication to the event and am impressed by their ability to forgo sleep for an entire weekend.
Regrettably, there appears to be an issue with the packaging of this fine, smooth apéritif, and this particular gift may not last to be placed among the archives of the Grand Lodge of DC.
